Giving Tuesday is quickly approaching on November 28.
We are so excited to be celebrating 25 years of PLI and its impact! Lives have been changed. Congregations have been strengthened and are growing. New churches have been planted. Marriages have been renewed. Nonbelievers have started following Jesus.
We hope you’ll support us with a gift on Giving Tuesday. We just received the biggest match yet of $103,000 for every new dollar raised, so your gift will be doubled!
Gail and I just returned from teaching in Singapore with international directors Scott and Lori Rische! It’s year one of four. A deep investment in development of leadership character and competency! And the answering of several key leadership questions:
- Are we going in the right direction?
- Are you the type of leader that people want to follow?
- Are you someone that can get people to work together?
We met absolutely incredible pastors and spouses from four different church bodies/countries:
- The Philippines
- Indonesia
- Singapore
- And a country that can not be publicly named due to the extent of persecution they experience.
40+ pastors and spouses. Each being trained as “Master Trainers” who will eventually guide thousands of pastoral couples through becoming healthier, better leaders for the sake of the mission.
I find it interesting… Most pastors, most churches, lose sight that the church is about God’s mission! God wants His lost family members back. It’s demonstrated in His commitment to finding them by sending Jesus as not only our savior but also to reconcile an entire lost world to Himself.
How do so many leaders and so many churches continue in the wrong direction, not aimed at the mission?
Your gift on Giving Tuesday will be an incredible boost. And, if it’s a new gift or more than you gave last year, it will be doubled dollar for dollar! And it will begin adding to an amazing 25th anniversary celebration of the work of God through PLI!
Would you do me one favor? If you have personally been blessed by PLI as a participant or if you’re in a congregation where your pastor and/or spouse were participants, would you forward this to 5 of your friends and simply note: “PLI is a good thing! It’s been a blessing to me because… (fill in the blank)! Would you join me in making a gift on Giving Tuesday to advance their work across the United States and around the globe?”
