Allow us a simple word of thanks.
You show up to lead almost every day in your congregation.
- Easy or not
- Experiencing joys or not
- Trends up and to the right or not
We’d simply like to say thanks.
You’ve read our vision of what an emerging vibrant church might look like in 2030 over the last few weeks. You know it takes leaders… teams of leaders…
- Willing to experiment
- Risk
- Pioneer
- …and navigate change and plenty of loss.
And maybe that comes easily in your congregation, but probably not.
So, we’d like to simply say thanks!
We believe in you. We want to encourage you and the other folks that sit in leadership seats in your congregation.
The PLI team will be regularly praying for you in 2020.
And! Would you pray for the two of us? We experience the burden of doing what we do. Your prayers would be a gift. And pray for the PLI team and coaches and presenters in the US and around the world?
Relational discipleship–that’s what Jesus did–is the hinge that the door to a vibrant 2030 church swings on. The beautiful thing: it’s something that almost any leader in any church could learn to practice and do to create a different future for their congregation. No matter your church’s size or age or location or anything else.
Four different PLI learning communities will start in 2020. One of them might be helpful to you and your congregation.
You can sign up for the 1000 Young Leader webinar introducing the two-year, fully-online training on January 9 at 3 pm CST or point a young adult you believe in to the participant webinar on January 13 at 7 pm CST.
Thanks for leading!
