Allow me to say Thank You to you for leading in your role. Thank you for serving and caring for your congregation and people that don’t know Jesus and for whom Jesus extended His arms on the cross and died.
Let’s be honest. Leading is difficult. Oftentimes lonely. So, simply, for who you are and what you do… Thank you.
Congregational leaders need to be bold masters at graciously saying Thank You too. It’s essential to navigating change!
It’s easy to see what’s wrong in your organization. Right? There are plenty of things you would change or fix or take in a different direction.
But, as a leader, why not lead with saying “thank you”?
“Thank you” says that what your people do counts. They matter to you, to God and have a role in the ministry and God’s future vision for it.
So before this week is over, who do you need to say “thank you” to? Maybe look for ways to say it more frequently and with more appreciation.
I’ll start with you. Thank You!
