If God chooses to usher in a next great season of mission and vibrancy across U.S. churches, He likely will use the young leaders…the filled-with-the-Spirit Joshuas (Deuteronomy 34:9) of today.
A few years ago, I shared the following 10 tips for young leaders. A couple of these are more relevant for pastors, but most of them are relevant regardless of your age or vocation.
Do you know a young leader or two? Share these tips. Offer a word of encouragement. Tell them what you see in them.
If you are a young leader (and even if you’re not), pick out two or three of these that you’re doing well, and one—just one—that stirs your heart and calls for your action.
And also, would you pray that God might stir through His Church to create a humble, sacrificing mission vigor like we’ve not seen in most of our lifetimes?
